What an online exam takes

Delivering a certification exam online takes more than publishing a quiz. Each exam period means loading the current version of the exam, setting up every candidate, checking that each candidate's computer works, and watching over the exam while candidates take it.

We do that work for you, period after period, so your staff can look after your candidates and your standard.

We build it in the LMS

We load the exam into SmarterU or your LMS and keep each earlier version, so past exams and their wording stay available for review.
You review it

We send you the links to check the exam in SmarterU or your LMS before it opens, so you see what your candidates will see. It is one of only two steps left for your staff each period.
We set up every candidate

We create an account for every candidate, and each candidate takes a system test on the computer they will use. That checks every computer works before exam day.
We manage exam day

We manage and monitor the exam on the dates you set, with any approved time extensions in place, and support your candidates on the day if your program needs it.
We report on the results

After every exam period, we can send you a report on how each question performed, and build the other analysis, dashboards or reports your program needs.

Exams can randomize questions, set time limits and lock the answer order. Proctoring ranges from proctor codes to automated ID verification and live proctoring through Integrity Advocate, and proctor and quiz analysis reports show what happened.

No. Your exam, its questions and its passing standard stay yours. We deliver the exam you give us.

Can you deliver it on our own LMS?

Yes. We can work in any LMS, and our team already administers Absorb, Docebo and Cornerstone for clients.

How much work is left for our staff?

Two steps each exam period. You send the exam and any changes, then check it through the links we send before it opens. We set up every candidate, check the system tests and manage exam day.

Can the exam be proctored?

Yes. On SmarterU, proctoring ranges from proctor codes to automated ID verification and live proctoring through Integrity Advocate. On another LMS, we look at the proctoring options it supports with you.

Can candidates get extra time or help on exam day?

Yes. Approved time extensions are set up for each candidate before exam day, and we can support your candidates on the day if your program needs it.

What reports do we get after an exam?

Whatever your program needs. We can send a report on how each question performed after every exam period, and build other analysis, dashboards or reports as part of the engagement.
